The estate of the late singer and actress Whitney Houston is auctioning off some of her most famous and cherished industry memorabilia.
The auction will feature iconic stage-worn fashion, her personal accessories, and awards.
Houston died on 11 February 2012, at 48, when she was found unresponsive in a bathtub at the Beverly Hilton hotel in Beverly Hills, California.
Her only child, Bobbi Kristina Brown, died three years later on July 26, 2015, at 22. She died in hospice care in Duluth, Georgia, almost five months after being found unresponsive in a bathtub on 31 January.
Proceeds from the sale will support The Whitney E. Houston Legacy Foundation‘s programming, scholarships, and community initiatives.
Julian’s Auction will conduct the auction on 11 August.
Whitney Houston’s #1 single album to be released on Friday
Houston had some of the best chart-toppers in her prime, including I Wanna Dance with Somebody, How Will I Know, Saving All My Love for You, and Greatest Love of All.
A compilation album of those songs will be on sale on Friday.
