Kaizer Chiefs have considerable depth in wide areas, despite the recent sale of Ashley Du Preez. Let’s take a closer look at those options.
With Phili’s arrival, Chiefs have several wide attacking options. There’s the option of right-footed Asanele Velebayi as an inverted left winger, while Phili’s two-footedness makes him a great option on that flank too. Pule Mmodi, often deployed wide on the left, could be falling further down the pecking order. Meanwhile, 21-year-old Phili, known for his low centre of gravity, trickery and accurate shooting, is pumped about the move:
